The process of university decentralization: influence on health services in Mantua

A descriptive, retrospective, observational, analytical and retrospective research was carried out with the objective of evaluating the results achieved in the Educational Teaching Process in the careers of Medicine, Stomatology, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Bachelor's Degree in Health Technology, its influence on health services and on the resolutivity of medical assistance, in Mantua, in the period 2020- 2022, which facilitated an evaluation of the impact of the process of decentralization of teaching in the territory. The study was carried out with all the students enrolled and graduated from SUM and the general teaching staff in the corresponding period.
In order to fulfill the objectives, the information obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics, using the percentage as a summary measure, the documentary analysis procedure was used and the SUM archives were reviewed in the period 2020/2022. All this documentary review allowed us to obtain the data for the execution of the research. This study allowed to deepen in the process of decentralization of education and its influence on health services in Mantua municipality, Pinar del Río province, identifying the aspects that made possible these achievements and the contribution to the community.
